This role reports to the Head of Finance Strategy and involves close collaboration with senior management within the company. You will help drive a best-in-class financial accounting, financial analysis and reporting, and budgeting and forecasting for a tech start-up focusing on financial products such as digital lending. The rapid growth of the business and the increasing complexity will require an individual who is motivated to make a big impact. The role offers the opportunity to add immediate value and support the organization during an exciting and dynamic growth phase.
 

What you will do

• Conduct financial analysis for senior management to make key financial decisions as well as assist in regulatory reporting where applicable

• Build, manage, and optimize financial models for business forecasting, business initiatives, variance analysis, and problem solving

• Initiate and complete strategic financial analysis and projects and proactively engage with key stakeholders and business units to ensure high quality deliverables in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Provide clarity on potential commercial and partnerships opportunities through financial and strategic analysis

• Liaise with accounting department at SCB on financial statement preparations

What we look for​

• Bachelors' degree or master's degree in accounting or finance

• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting role

• Strong financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

• Adaptive to a constantly changing work environment

• Data-driven mentality through strong analytical thinking

• Team player with positive attitude, intellectual curiosity and growth mindset
