Napat leads the Risk Policies and Provisioning team focusing on managing underwriting policies and provisioning models and on achieving the right balance between appropriate levels of portfolio credit risks and portfolio growth.
Before joining ABACUS digital, Napat was the head of risk management at Next Capital Public Company Limited (NCAP), where he led the development of various risk and statistical models. He has also previously worked as a financial risk management consultant at KPMG and Deloitte, which are two of ‘The Big Four’ accounting firms..
His key experiences can be described as a mix between data analytics, statistical and predictive modeling, and financial risk management
He holds a master’s degree in Financial Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) under the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
